The Utah Hockey Club had a busy and eventful week from July 1 to July 5, 2024. The team held its 2024 Development Camp at the Park City Ice Arena, which included both on-ice and off-ice sessions designed to provide their prospects with NHL-level coaching and instruction. The camp concluded with a scrimmage at the Delta Center, which was open to the public and was well attended.

All 11 of Utah’s 2024 draft picks participated in the camp, including the team's first-ever draft choice, forward Tij Iginla, and another first-round pick, forward Cole Beaudoin. The camp roster featured 32 players in total, comprising 15 forwards, 12 defensemen, and 5 goaltenders.

In addition to the development camp, the Utah Hockey Club made several roster moves. They signed defenseman Ian Cole to a one-year contract, bringing in his experience and leadership to the team. Cole, a two-time Stanley Cup champion, is expected to be a significant influence on the younger players. They also acquired Mikhail Sergachev in a trade with the lighting for JJ Moser Connor Geekie and a 2025 2nd round pick (#199) and as well as acquiring John Marino from the Devils in a trade. They have also re-signed a bunch of Defensemen such as Jusso Valimaki (2x2m) and Sean Duzri (4x6m) and they also signed free agent Kevin Stenlund (2x2m) who will probably be a 4th line rw.
