It's gameday, Icehogs fans! (I apologize, I was not able to work last Wednesday for the game.) Coming off a 4-2 loss to the Griffins, the Icehogs look to get back into the win colum Tonight. Rockford faces almost as close to a cross town rival as it gets in the AHL, the Milwaukee Admirals. Puck drop is at 6:00 PM CDT.
Jackson Cates finally earned the pen to paper contract with the Icehogs, after an impressive PTO performance. Cates has 5 points in his last 5 games with the Icehogs. Expect to see him continue to be an Icehogs standout, now having earned a contract. He's our player to watch tonight.
In goal we will see Jaxson Stauber, who is coming off two great outings, posting a .920 SV% in those games. With the current situation up in Chicago with a struggling Arvid Soderblom, hawks fans alike are looking for Stauber, to get a call-up. A few more good outings in Rockford, could possibly earn him just that.
With no new call-ups from the Blackhawks, The lines will look somewhat like the following:
Katchouk-Seeney-Gust
Hardman-Cates-Dach
Telpy-Luypen-Rolston
Baddock-Saarela-Kindopp
Del Mastro-Allan
Kaiser-Strand
Roos-Healey
Stauber
Commesso
As for the Admirals player to watch, we look to the seasoned veteran, Cal O'reilly. He has 8 points in his last 5. He brings experience to a young Admirals roster.
The Admrials lines will look like this tonight: (Note) Yaroslav Askarov was called up to the Preds due to an illness with Lankinen, therefore we will not see the promised 21 year old in net for the Ads.

I'll have the postgame analysis sent out tomorrow morning at 8:30 CDT. For Icehogs Network, I'm Anthony Pellegrino. Enjoy the game, Icehogs fans.
