After what seemed like eternity, the Icehogs snapped a 7 game loosing streak on Saturday versus the Iowa Wild. The Hogs were back at it Sunday for the third game in a 3 in 3, which became their 8th loss in their last 9 games, when Nathan Sucese shot was sent past the glove of Drew Commmesso to win it for the Wolves 4-3 in overtime. The Icehogs look to push into Christmas with a win or two, playing tonight and Friday, both against San Diego. Just two weeks ago, the Hogs got trampled 7-0 and 5-1 in a misrable back to back again the Gulls.
Borris Katchouk, was sent down to the Icehogs after a meer 2 goals and 2 assists in 17 games for the Blackhawks this season. Bringing the Hogs some much needed scoring, he already has 2 goals and 1 assist in 3 games since joining the Icehogs. He'll be a player to watch tonight. Mike Hardman also did not dissapoint this past weekend putting up 4 points in 3 games. He'll be someone defended closley by the Gulls tonight.
In Goal we will see Jaxson Stauber who probably played what was his best game of the season for the Hogs this past Satuday. Stopping 29 of 31 for an excellent .931 season high save percentage. Jaxson has a .889 SV with a 3.52 GAA in 12 games with Rockford this season (5-5-1).

As for the Gulls player to watch, we look in goal to Tomas Suchanek who has an incredable .929 Sv and a 2.00 GAA in 6 games for the Gulls (4-1-1). Although we do not know for sure yet if it will be the rookie in net, if it is indeed Suchanek, the Icehogs will have to put pucks on him all night.
