BURLINGTON--On Saturday, February 22 the Vermont Catamounts (11-16-3, 6-12-2) hosted the #2 Boston College Eagles (24-6-1, 16-4-1) in a hockey east matchup at the Gutterson Field House. The Eagles came out on top as they defeated the Catamounts 4-1.

What went down?

Less than five minutes after the Eagles' first goal, they would get another, as Andre Gasseau deflected a shot from the top of the faceoff circle.

2nd Period.

BC would open the frame. Four minutes into the period, Ryan Leonard would cut from the faceoff circle to the net and then slide the puck past Mangbo for a 3-0 lead.

10 minutes after Boston College’s 3rd goal of the game they would get another as Andre Gasseau would rip one bar down from the top of the faceoff circle to increase the lead by 4.
